Well, part of it will.
Previously, 343 said Halo Infinite campaign co-op and Forge will release in 2022, sometime during the multiplayer mode’s second and third seasons respectively. What we’re getting on December 8 is the full Halo Infinite single-player campaign and the first season of Halo Infinite multiplayer, which is free-to-play.
Speaking of multiplayer, 343 debuted the first season’s opening trailer, which seems to revolve around a story itself. We see a civilian getting rescued by Spartans and becoming one themselves, eventually leading the battalion that you’re part of.
Halo Infinite multiplayer seasons feature cosmetics and other items you can earn through gameplay or purchase outright, and, unlike previous Halo games, how you dress matters. 343 opted for a different approach with customization this time around. Teams still have red and blue auras denoting who’s who, but otherwise, your Spartan’s unique look shows up in every battle.
That’s just one of the things we’re looking forward to with Halo Infinite, though. With solid gunplay and classic gameplay, it’s on track to being one of the top shooters.
